On Tuesday, 1/13/2026, the Technology Council of Central PA (TCCP) had the opportunity to participate in the Business and Marketing Career Connections – Industry Insider Program, an event hosted by one of TCCP's valued members - the Partnership for Career Development. The program brought together seasoned industry professionals and students from across Central Pennsylvania for an engaging, hands-on career exploration experience.

The event welcomed 63 students representing a diverse group of local school districts, including Harrisburg Area School District, Shippensburg Area School District, Camp Hill Area School District, Big Spring School District, Middletown Area School District, Greencastle-Antrim School District, Carlisle Area School District, Central Dauphin East, Chambersburg Area School District, and East Pennsboro Area School District.

Designed as a series of rotating roundtable discussions, the program allowed students to move between eight tables staffed by industry professionals who volunteered their time and expertise. At each table, students asked questions, gained insight into real-world career paths, and learned directly from professionals working in business, marketing, and related fields. The format encouraged open dialogue, curiosity, and meaningful connection—giving students a chance to explore careers in a way that goes far beyond a traditional classroom setting.

TCCP was proud to be part of a program that aligns so closely with our mission to support talent development and strengthen the region’s future workforce. Events like this help students better understand the opportunities available to them, the skills employers are seeking, and the many pathways that can lead to fulfilling careers right here in Central PA.
