Celebrating 10 Years of Women In Technology: 2026 Award Winners + Scholarship Recipients

What a way to celebrate 10 years!

On September 30, 2026, the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania brought together members of our technology community at the West Shore Country Club for the 10th Annual Women In Technology Awards, celebrating the women and allies whose leadership, innovation, collaboration and impact are helping shape technology throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond.

For a decade, the Women In Technology Awards have given TCCP an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the innovators, role models, trailblazers and advocates making a difference in our technology community. This year's milestone celebration gave us an opportunity to recognize seven more incredible individuals and invest in the next generation of women in technology.

Investing in What's Next

Celebrating 10 years wasn't only about looking back. We wanted this milestone to help us look forward, too.

Through the Women In Tech Scholarship Program, three students pursuing technology-related degrees at regional colleges and universities received scholarships this year. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Women In Technology Awards, TCCP doubled its scholarship awards through a matching contribution, increasing our total 2026 scholarship investment to $9,000.

Congratulations to:

Jessica Ugwoaga, Penn State Harrisburg, Bachelor of Computer Science, Class of 2028 | $2,000 scholarship

Charlene Cruz, York College of Pennsylvania, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2028 | $3,000 scholarship

Janet Dooley, Penn State Harrisburg, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Class of 2028 | $4,000 scholarship

We are incredibly proud to invest in these three women as they continue their education and prepare to bring their own talents, ideas and perspectives to the future of technology.

An Event Like This Takes a Community

Our Women In Technology Awards simply would not be possible without the organizations that invest in this event and in the broader work of supporting women in technology.

And One BIG Thank You to Our Women In Tech Subcommittee

There are a lot of things people see when they attend the Women In Technology Awards. The room. The program. The awards. The speakers. The celebration.

What they don't always see are the months of work behind all of it.

To every member of TCCP's Women In Tech Subcommittee who gave their time, ideas, energy and talents to planning this year's event: THANK YOU.

From nominations and award selections to scholarships, speakers, program planning and all of the details that ultimately come together in one room on one evening, this event is truly a team effort.

A special thank you to our Women In Tech Subcommittee Co-Chairs, Lori Montgomery and Reesy Neff, for their leadership and continued commitment to TCCP's Women In Technology community, and to every Subcommittee member who helped make our 10th anniversary celebration possible.

Ten years of Women In Technology Awards represents a lot of names, stories, accomplishments and moments worth celebrating. It also represents a community that continues to show up for one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this milestone year, and congratulations again to our 2026 award winners, finalists and scholarship recipients.

Here's to the people who brought us this far and the people who will lead what's next!
