Volunteer with Junior Achievement

Hello Technology Leaders!

Check out this fantastic volunteer opportunity with Junior Achievement (JA) BizTown. As some of you may know, JA BizTown is an immersive educational program that helps students learn about financial literacy, community engagement, and business operations by running their own simulated town for a day. We're excited to continue our involvement. As you may recall, we sponsored a new cybersecurity technology role in last year's simulation.

We are currently looking for volunteers from our technology and business community to help guide and mentor these students during their simulation. It is a highly rewarding way to give back, share your professional experience, and inspire the next generation of workforce leaders.

What to expect as a volunteer:

  • Guiding a small group of students as they manage their assigned "business" for the day.
  • Assisting them with teamwork, customer service, and understanding basic financials.
  • No extensive prior preparation is required; training and instructions are provided on the day of the event.

If you or your team members are interested in volunteering for this unique experience, you can learn more about their programs here: Volunteer Overview
