Updated 2025-2026 Meeting Schedule

November 19, 2025 Planning Meeting Results: Goals & Initiatives

Over the past year, the Alliance has successfully met two primary goals, set at the initial Alliance kick-off: Hosting A Regional Career Preparation Event and Developing the Career Connect: An Online Work-Based Learning Connector.

At the November meeting, the group completed a Goal Mapping Lab for the remaining goals: a Regional Career Expo, a Lexicon Dictionary, and Resource Sharing Format. Beginning January 2026, we will begin evaluating them to identify the two most feasible and impactful initiatives.

PCD CAREER CONNECT

The PCD Online Connector is a growing resource designed to match local work-based learning opportunities with educators and students. Developed by a working group from the Cradle to Career Alliance, this tool is open to any business or individual who offers or is interested in offering:

~ Job shadowing, internships, co-ops, pre-apprenticeships,

and other work-based learning (WBL) opportunities

~ Support for school programs, such as mock interviews,

career fairs, classroom speaking, or expo participation

This is a fantastic way to help the next generation explore meaningful career pathways while strengthening your workforce pipeline. You can:

1. Share info with your network, newsletter, or internal communications, and post on your social media networks!

2. Distribute this link to any business, organization, or individual who may be looking for their future talent: PCD Online Connector Link

All offerings will be shared across the Partnership for Career Development's extensive network of participating schools in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, and Franklin Counties.

Session Facilitators

The Partnership for Career Development (PCD) is seeking CAP Session Facilitators for our Career Connections series, October–April.
