Technical Support Specialist
Join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional Technical Support as a help desk technician. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for all desktop and operating system concerns, providing timely and effective assistance to end users across the organization. You will handle initial troubleshooting, document customer interactions clearly, and escalate complex issues to specialized IT staff when necessary.
The position requires supporting the deployment and setup of new computers, monitors, and peripherals like printers, mice, and keyboards, ensuring smooth onboarding for new employees and replacements. As the help desk technician, you'll be involved in upgrading or replacing existing Windows-based systems and maintaining accurate records of issue resolutions. You will also collaborate with other technicians to configure and troubleshoot Windows PCs, all while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and technical efficiency.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong customer service mindset, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for technology. Attention to detail, the ability to work autonomously, and physical capability to handle computer hardware are essential. Familiarity with diagnosing and troubleshooting Microsoft desktop operating systems and related software is preferred. Qualified candidates must have some experience in help desk support or service desk roles and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
