Systems Engineer role available on a hybrid basis (2 days in) up to $120k to become a vital part of an enterprise environment. This role demands a professional with a deep understanding of virtualization platforms and network infrastructure, primarily focusing on VMware and Cisco environments. The successful candidate will take on the responsibility of designing, deploying, and maintaining a robust virtualized data center, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

The Systems Engineer will be instrumental in managing daily operations, including system provisioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting maintaining high availability and scalability for a userbase several hundred. This Systems Engineer will also be tasked with documenting system configurations comprehensively and providing advanced support levels, including participation in rotational on-call duties. Regular evaluations to identify potential risks and recommend enhancements will be a key part of the role. This role requires being able to regularly work a non traditional day shift 8a-5p.

To qualify, candidates should possess at least four years of practical experience working within VMware data hub environment. Qualified candidates will have worked with Windows Server O/S from 2008 through 2025, alongside Linux system administration knowledge, is required.

Advanced Cisco and/or VMware certifications highly preferred. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and meticulous documentation skills are also vital
