Permanent Sr. Security Engineer opening in the greater Harrisburg area! Our long-standing client offers up to $125k DOE, hybrid remote work options and professional development opportunities as there’s potential for this individual to transition into a leadership role in the near future. The organization is looking to strengthen their security posture so this individual will be proactive in architecting, designing, and implementing security controls & countermeasures, along with recommending next level of controls. Additional responsibilities include monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, administering authentication & access controls, analyzing security trends, developing IS governance, and developing IS training and awareness programs. 

Qualified candidates will have: 

• 5+ years of professional experience in a hands on Cyber Security role in an enterprise environment. 
• Conceptual knowledge of MS Defender for Cloud  
• Understanding of cloud offerings (Azure and AWS) 
• Prior experience implementing security regulatory standards and helping a company remain compliant with regulations 
• Working experience with Sentinel & ARC are a plus 
• Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field
