Direct hire Infrastructure Security Administrator needed to strengthen and protect our client's core IT environment in the Lancaster area (hybrid). This role is ideal for someone with a strong networking or infrastructure background who has taken on security responsibilities and wants to grow deeper in that space. Around 115k with excellent benefits.

This is a hands-on, technical role focused on real-world security, not just monitoring alerts.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain firewalls, endpoints, servers, and network infrastructure
• Respond to security incidents from detection through resolution
• Manage EDR/XDR, endpoint protection, and intrusion prevention tools
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and VPNs using the command line
• Support backups, patching, disaster recovery, and system hardening
• Assist with hardware, wireless, and infrastructure refresh projects
• Create and enforce security standards and documentation
• Help train technical staff on security best practices

Required Experience

• Strong networking foundation with hands-on CLI experience
• Experience securing firewalls and network infrastructure (VPN, VLANs, ACLs)
• Experience with endpoint protection, EDR/XDR, or NGAV platforms
• Experience with incident response and disaster recovery
• Solid experience with Microsoft servers, Active Directory/Entra, and Microsoft 365
• Experience working with virtualized environments (VMware or similar)

Preferred

• Security platform or SIEM experience 
• Email security experience 
• Scripting or automation experience
