Cybersecurity Manager
Cybersecurity Manager who will lead efforts to protect critical computer systems, networks, and sensitive data. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and evaluation of information security programs across various projects, adhering to security industry standards. Ensuring the proper documentation, assessment, and authorization of security measures is a key component, alongside delivering security awareness and training initiatives to all users. This role involves applying rigorous cybersecurity standards and managing continuous monitoring strategies, including audit reviews, patch management, and configuration oversight. The candidate will be tasked with investigating and managing security incidents, from data breaches to malware infections, ensuring all security controls are operational and effective.
A deep understanding of the Risk Management Framework is essential, with experience applying NIST controls (800-37, 800-53). The person filling this position should have hands-on experience managing security policies, account access, and system functions on both Windows and Linux/Unix platforms. They will be responsible for producing necessary security documentation and risk assessments, while also supporting compliance initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to analyzing and enhancing security practices in alignment with industry standards and client requirements.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for cybersecurity. Qualified candidates will have experience interpreting and implementing policies, working effectively with diverse teams, and managing multiple priorities. Qualified candidates will have experience including: evaluating enterprise infrastructure, managing security vulnerabilities, and applying controls across a variety of systems and networks. A background in information security risk management and at least six years of experience in systems auditing is preferred. Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
