What are some of the most common challenges we see as women in technology? Lack of representation? The wage gap? Differences in education? These are all tangible, statistically supported examples of problems we as a community of strong women work to overcome. In fact, I'm sure most of us are aware of the numbers behind them (news flash, they're not great). While there is no argument that these are all incredibly important in the constant struggle to even the playing field, what are some of the things we can't measure quantitatively but can help to positively influence these metrics? We're talking about the closing the Confidence Gap, increasing mentorship, and more. In this session, we'll discuss how we can advocate for ourselves and other women to ultimately conquer these challenges and emerge as respected and confident professionals who support one another.
