Women In Tech Breakfast: Be Who You Needed to See: The Impact of Representation in Technology (IN-PERSON)
Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (8:30 AM - 10:00 AM) (EDT)
Description
Throughout her career, Shanice Mariluz has often found herself as the only woman, the only person of color, or the only leader with a nontraditional path to technology in the room. While that came with challenges, it also revealed the power of representation to inspire confidence, expand possibilities, and create opportunities for others.
In this session, Shanice shares lessons learned throughout her leadership career on confidence, authenticity, and influence, and how embracing what makes us different can become one of our greatest strengths. Through personal stories and practical insights, attendees will be encouraged to lead boldly, own their unique path, and recognize that their presence may be opening doors they will never see.
The impact of representation isn't measured by who notices you. It's measured by who believes more is possible because they saw you.
🥐 Breakfast will be provided, so arrive early, grab a seat, meet someone new, and start your day fueled by both great food and even better conversation.
We are proud to present the Women In Tech Breakfast series with the generous support of our 2026 series sponsor, Capital Blue Cross, whose commitment helps make these meaningful community experiences possible.
