Over the past 10 years, Central PA has been short 1000-2000 IT jobs on average annually. The South Central PA NextGen IT Partnership has been working to shrink that gap. To do so we’ve been reaching out to local high school and college students, raising awareness in diverse communities, and also have created a tool to help reach people who might be interested in IT Careers. The tool is called TechConnect.jobs. Representing the South Central PA NextGen IT Partnership, Charles Nordine, Brooke Holland, and Cynthia Picht will walk you through its purpose, how it attracts young and diverse people to IT careers, and how you can further help the cause.
