TechThrive is a new 5-month series of facilitated discussions centered around opportunities and challenges that influence success within the Central PA tech ecosystem. 

The theme of the inaugural series’ discussions centers around the following question: How can we create thriving workplace communities when the very technology we are connected to enables modern workplace practices that have led to more disconnectedness? This will be a highly discussion-oriented virtual experience that will take place from 12 - 1 pm on the 1st Thursday of every month for a total of 5 months (June 2, July 7, August 4, September 1 & October 6). 

Participants will be expected to purchase a copy of the book Mastering Community by Christine Porath prior to the first meeting on Thursday, June 2 and complete reading assignments (2 chapters) prior to each monthly session. 

Whether you are an independent contractor, an entry-level technologist, a middle manager, the CEO or somewhere in between, all are welcome. While those who are able to attend all 5 sessions will reap the greatest benefits from the experience, those who know ahead of time that they will have to miss a session or two are still welcome.
